Busy Day

Hudson lost his first tooth at school on Thursday. It's been loose for a couple of weeks but it never got to that nasty, just hanging there loose so I was surprised it came out. He was playing with it at nap time and it came out. He got $5.00 and was really excited about 6am that morning. He came running in my room to tell me and then went and woke Chandler up to tell him. He went back to bed but then when he got up later, he told me that $5.00 was not enough. His friend at school got $100.00 he said (turns out it was 10.00) but I told him her tooth fairy must have more money than his!

Saturday, we had a full, busy day. Hudson had a ball game at 12 then it was off to Sydney's dance recital at the Bama Theater. After that, Richard, Hudson, and I went to the Alabama baseball game. Chandler was at a friend's house.
This was a lady sitting a few rows in front of us. What is she thinking with that hair cut? I just wanted to take a pair of scissors and cut that mess off!
And, check out her pants! I was glad she was a Florida fan! Here's a picture of Sydney and Hudson after Syd's recital. She looked so cute and did a great job. They were very entertaining!

Pretty princess with her flowers she was so proud of!

No longer a Fence rattler!

Chandler finally hit a home run in his game Friday!!!!! I cannot tell you how many times he has come close. It was really beginning to be ridiculous and almost funny that it was just never going to happen. Well, it finally did! There was one person on base when he hit it. It cleared the center field fence just so smoothly and easily. I know this is stupid but I almost cried watching him run the bases. He was met at home plate by his team congratulating him and his friend, Edward, picked him up and carried him back towards the dugout. It was great! They went on to win the game. They've been on a winning streak lately. Just hope it last to tournaments. On Saturday, I was anxious for him to hit again and they intentionally walked him twice! His third at bat, they finally pitched to him and he got a good hit. He also pitched 4 innings in the game on Sat and did awesome! He's not really a pitcher. He's pitched maybe 3 times this year. Out of 12 outs, 7 of them were strikeouts and I think he gave up 2 hits and 1 run. It was awesome! He just really had a great weekend. Chandler with his home run ball.

Mom, Dad, Mary, Drew, Colt, Rickey, and Juanita came to the game on Friday. Drew was excited to watch "bubba" play baseball!
Hudson playing with his friend, Josh. They really keep each other entertained during the ball games! They "play" baseball with cups, rocks, sticks, and what ever else they can find. It's so cute.

Hudson's game got rained out on Saturday and he doesn't play this week until Thursday and I think it's supposed to rain. He will be so disappointed because he just can't wait to play again.
